Red-breasted Carrion Beetle

Walking in Glen Feshie the other day and came across this funky looking beetle. It is a red-breasted carrion beetle (Oiceoptoma thoracicum). They are often found under the carcasses of birds and mammals, mainly in woodland habitats.
