Today is Earth Day 2023. I have been fortunate to live and work in some fantastic places with great scenery and amazing wildlife. Earth Day a celebration of the natural world and a reminder of what we have to lose. Since the first Earth Day in 1970 (the year I was born), we have lost 35% of our wetlands, 40% of our invertebrates and animal populations have declined by 70%.
We only have one planet and we need to look after it better, starting now.
