The alpine chough (Pyrrhocorax graculus), also known as the yellow-billed chough is a striking looking bird native to the high mountains of eastern Spain, Central Europe, North Africa, central Asia and Nepal.
We encountered them on a recent trip to Spain and got great views of them as they are quite tame and relaxed around humans. They were so close to us that one even tried to steal our lunch – so we filmed him!
